✅ NSFAS Eligibility Requirements
Citizenship: South African citizen/permanent resident
No age limit (unlike previous years)
Financial Need: Combined household income ≤ R350,000/year
SASSA grant recipients automatically qualify
Academic Requirements:
- First-time applicants: Pass Grade 12
- Continuing students: Pass 50%+ of modules
- Postgrad students: Only funded for PGCE/BEd Honours
Institution: Registered at public universities/TVET colleges
Private institutions NOT covered
